I’m torn between 1) Cars are meant to be driven and thus, they should be driven and enjoyed, vs 2)

Shaded plate cover, for responsible and accountable driving.

According to Wikipedia some 2500 made it to the US so it’s not like it’s *that* rare. The 360 Modena had 4200 come over as a point of reference and no one is calling that a museum car. Z8's should be driven.

oh ok, I thought it was less than that.
What is the cut off point between production number and museumness?
1000 cars?

Ehhh I’d go with like 250. You could maybe stretch to 500 (which would include the P1 and LaFerrari), but 1k is too many IMO. I think 250 is right - in my mind, I don’t think the P1 or LaFerrari are “museum cars.” There’s enough of them around that if one gets wrecked it’s not coming off of like a publicly tracked list of chassis numbers known to exist.

Probably thinks he’s beating the system, I see it with Fresnel covers too.
The real way to win is a FOP sticker or similar plate.

1000 would make the c36 AMG a museum piece. Not even I feel that way about it.
